
2011 New Opel Meriva
Recently, General Motors has revealed next-generation Opel Meriva compact MPV. The Opel Meriva opens up a new dimension in rear seat access with unique rear-hinged rear doors. Opel car will be entering into a new era of doors design. The new Meriva will debut at March’s 2010 Geneva Motor Show, and be built in Spain and goes on sale across Europe in late spring.
The 2011 new Opel Meriva will be equipped with six environmentally friendly turbocharged engines, offering a power bandwidth from 75 to 140 hp. It will provide both gasoline and diesel engines. A fuel-efficient EcoFlex model will also be launched. The Meriva will offer a choice of 5 and 6-speed manual transmissions as well as a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The new Meriva benefits from a longer wheelbase, wider front and rear tracks, all contributing to improved handling and greater ride comfort.
