Apple’s New MacBook

Today, Apple offical publish its new MacBook. The Apple new MacBook is a entry-level notebook. But, the new MacBook’s CPU and graphics card configurations was upgraded, adding a faster processor, better graphics, and a built-in, ten-hour battery. Its price of only $999.

The Apple new MacBook is equipped of Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, CPU’s frequency from 2.26GHz to upgrade to 2.40GHz, while the GeForce 9400M integrated graphics chipset upgrade to GeForce 320M, 3D graphics performance up to 1.8 times the previous generation. In addition, its Lithium Polymer battery capacity built from the 60Whr elevated to 63.5Whr, At the same time, it used low-power NVIDIA chipset, battery’s life upgrade from 7 hours to 10 hours. The Apple new MacBook also uses sideways MagSafe magnetic power connector.  A complete list of specs can be found below.

Asus Cine5 PC Speaker

Today, ASUS rolled out its first PC speaker – Cine5. Cine5 is the world’s first PC speaker useing “EmbracingSound Theatre HD” patented technology, it is also the world’s smallest five-channel speaker array.

The ASUS Cine5 array within the integrated speaker,  lightweight, its length and width of 373 mm, 100 mm in height. Total power tops out at just 15W, but the combination of a unique side-firing bass port and high-end drivers allegedly produces about 15 decibels more bass than other speaker systems at its size. A headphone output supplies private audio without having to rewire a computer. The Cine5 should support any computer that has appropriate stereo or surround output.

Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid Tablet Laptop

Recently, Lenovo has announced a new IdeaPad U1 notebooks. The lenovo IdeaPad U1 is One Smart Dual-Processor Laptop/Tablet Hybrid. It’s equipped with a notebook computer base, and its screen can be individually taken down as a tablet PC.

The Lenovo IdeaPad U1 tablet laptop uses a Intel Core 2 Duo SU processor, 4GB DDR3 memory, as well as the maximum capacity of 128GB of SSD drives, 11.6 inches LED display. When you install on the laptop base, it run on Windows 7 operating system. But when you split them up, the IdeaPad U1 will use a custom version of Linux and a Qualcomm ARM Snapdragon processor.

Both the tablet and the laptop share a battery, but the battery life varies with the slate lasting up to 8 hours on a single charge and the docked laptop only 6 hours. Other than that neat setup, the Lenvov IdeaPad U1 Hybrid also including 16GB flash disk, 512MB memory and integrated graphics Snapdragon, two USB 2.0 ports, eSATA, VGA, HDMI, 4-in-1 memory card reader, and a 1.3-Megapixel camera.

The Lenovo IdeaPad U1 tablet laptop will be on display in June of this year. Its price of $999.

Inter core i9 Gulftown to be 50 percent faster than a core i7 processor

Intel  upcoming Core i9 Gulftown processor. The Intel Core i9 Gulftown Processor has six cores. After PCLab took the i9 away for tests,  The core i9 to be 50 percent faster than a core i7 processor with the same clock speed. Intel will be launched the Core i9 in early 2010.

Today, HP publish LD4200tm LCD Display. The HP LD4200tm is a 42-inch (1920 x 1080 resolution) diagonal HD LCD, supports multitouch.

MSI has published Bravo EX628, it has a 16-inch display with resolution 1366 x 768 HD 720p native resolution. And the MSI Bravo EX628 is a high performance Audio & Video notebook.

Recently, Kingston has launched DataTraveler 300. The Kingston DataTraveler 300 is the world’s first 256GB U disk.

Kingston DataTraveler 300 measures 70.68 x 22.37 x 16.45 mm. The flash drive comes with a a new  functionality for password protection through their Password Traveler software which can protect of up to 90% of its capacity,and it is apparently enhanced for use with Windows Vista’s ReadyBoost feature.

Yesterday, Advanced Micro Devices official announced six-core Opteron chips, code-named Istanbul, it’s the fastest server chips.

AMD six-core processors include five Istanbul chips, Model Opteron 2400/8400, that run at speeds of up to 2.6GHz and draw up to 75 watts of power during average CPU usage. The chips will include 6MB of L3 cache and 512KB of L2 cache per core.

The six-core AMD Opteron Model 8435 runs at 2.6GHz and is priced at US$2,649. The Opteron Model 8431 runs at 2.4GHz and is priced at $2,149. In the 2000 series, the AMD Opteron Model 2435 runs at 2.6 GHz and is priced at $989, the 2.4GHz Opteron 2431 is priced at $698, the 2.2GHz Opteron 2427 is priced at $455.
