Recently, Lenovo has announced a new IdeaPad U1 notebooks. The lenovo IdeaPad U1 is One Smart Dual-Processor Laptop/Tablet Hybrid. It’s equipped with a notebook computer base, and its screen can be individually taken down as a tablet PC.
The Lenovo IdeaPad U1 tablet laptop uses a Intel Core 2 Duo SU processor, 4GB DDR3 memory, as well as the maximum capacity of 128GB of SSD drives, 11.6 inches LED display. When you install on the laptop base, it run on Windows 7 operating system. But when you split them up, the IdeaPad U1 will use a custom version of Linux and a Qualcomm ARM Snapdragon processor.
Both the tablet and the laptop share a battery, but the battery life varies with the slate lasting up to 8 hours on a single charge and the docked laptop only 6 hours. Other than that neat setup, the Lenvov IdeaPad U1 Hybrid also including 16GB flash disk, 512MB memory and integrated graphics Snapdragon, two USB 2.0 ports, eSATA, VGA, HDMI, 4-in-1 memory card reader, and a 1.3-Megapixel camera.
The Lenovo IdeaPad U1 tablet laptop will be on display in June of this year. Its price of $999.
